The city is made of barriers – roads, rivers, train tracks, buildings. The project creates a spanning public space that bridges over urban barriers. This project is an adaptation of my third year project ‘Landscape on the Pier.’
The undulating public space spans over the river Thames. There is a high level commuter highway that allow workers to pick apples for their lunch! The undulating landscape hide and reveal views of a panoramic view of London. The undulations also inject the city with a terrain unfamiliar with the city.
